Dr. Shah earned his medical degree from University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He returned to Tampa Bay to complete his fellowship training in Gastroenterology at University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. During training, he developed interest in the full scope of gastroenterology and now treats a broad range of gastrointestinal disorders, including esophageal disorders, GERD, gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, and colon cancer
prevention.
Dr. Shah is committed to helping patients improve their quality of life through evidence-based care, preventive screening, and long-term management strategies. When not caring for patients, Dr. Shah enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with family.
